Shared Spaces Foundation raises funds through community support, hosting events, workshops, and use of space. Focusing on restorative justice through asking industries that have attributed to the environmental and social impact on underserved communities. The space used to create low impact outdoor community facilities will be under the name of the NGO which will guarantee it is a true community space. Each location will provide facilities including outdoor meeting spaces, tool libraries, and urban farming spaces that will encourage community members to visit and share together.
All proceeds are currently allocated to The Heron’s Nest Landback Project raising $2 million towards land acquisition, stewardship, shared resources, community facilities and educational programming.
